In September, the club's name was changed to Baton Rouge Scale Modelers (BRSM).
By May, The Louisiana Historical Modelers
Society held it's first meeting at the Goodwood Library.
The BRSM club met at "The EBR Council on
Aging" governmental building on Florida Blvd.
BRSM hosted their 1st Cajun Modelfest at the
Oak Manor Hotel.
By September, the club had it's first exhibit
at the Goodwood Library.

invites interested modelers to form a club.

In August, the club displayed their models
for the first time at the Jones Creek Library.
In September, the Cajun Modelfest was held at the
USS Kidd Museum.
In July, the club displayed their models at
the Bluebonnet Libray for the first time.
1st time the club was named "Model Chapter
of the Year" by IPMS.
In April, it was Cajun Modelfest's 25th Anniversary, and the
theme was "Silver".
1st time Cajun Modelfest was held at the
LSU Mini-Farm on the LSU Campus.
In October, the club's 1st display outside the EBR parish, was at
the Watson Library in Livingston Parish.
1st time BRSM launched a Facebook page.
The Baton Rouge Scale Modelers Club is dedicated to promoting plastic model
building by performing demonstrations, having an annual contest for the public,
and displaying models at local libraries.
